## Choose the right API surface
Use Account APIs for wallet lifecycle and balances, Transfer APIs for movement between accounts and recipients, Payment APIs for collections and payment links, and Messaging APIs for SMS and WhatsApp. USSD guides explain the callback-driven integration experience.
## Channel codes
Use the numeric channel codes below. The named channel values are not currently accepted by these endpoints.

| Payments | 13=MTN; 6=Telecel; 7=AT |
> **Use numeric values in requests:** The interactive API forms, code snippets, and Postman examples use these numeric values. Keep the mapping close to your integration configuration so each channel remains explicit.
